*With some automobiles it is technically impossible to replace the production model strut bearings with aluminum ones.  Please refer to the models and types list to review the scope of supply.  
   
  With normal coilovers the height is adjusted by screwing the lower spring seat up or down.  This has the drawback of the spring losing its initial tension when the chassis is screwed too low.  The spring can then bounce out of its seating and become twisted, which can lead to an accident.  The big manufacturers try to remedy this problem by employing double-headed springs.  That helps up to a certain extent, but wasn’t in our opinion the perfect solution.
   
  Our chassis are designed differently.In our system the spring seats are adjusted with the springs compressed a few millimeters so that they easily sit taut on the damper.  The spring seats then remain forever in this position.  The heights of our chassis are then adjusted by screwing the lower axle mountings on the damper higher or lower (the K-Sport “Length-Adjustment-System”).  By doing so, the length of the whole suspension strut is altered and adjusts the height of the chassis.  The initial tension of the spring remains exactly the same in every position.  Another advantage is that the range of the possible positive and negative deflection does not change.  The performance of the automobile does not therefore depend on the adjusted height of the chassis..
   
 

If it is necessary to disassemble the damper, the lower axle clamping can remain on the axle casing (the damper is simply screwed out).  In this manner the toe and camber settings of chassis of MC-Pherson design can be maintained.  Wheel realignment is not necessary with our system!

A further advantage is that our strut bearings are milled from aluminum and are equipped with uniball joints.  For this reason they are rigid and ensure that the suspension damper lives up to its capabilities.  This is not the case with production model strut bearings: with their rubber supports they are usually softer than most tuned chassis and spring uncontrollably in traffic
   
BIn our system every spring movement defined by the spring/damper unit is absorbed.  This heightened the performance of the chassis in an up to now unknown degree.  The entire handling, precision and mechanical grip benefit from our aluminum uniball strut bearings.
   
The damper adjusts to the combined push-pull calibration. This makes it possible for well-versed drivers to make changes to the chassis setup beyond just the height adjustment.  Many parts of our chassis are CNC-milled from extremely firm A16061 airplane aluminum and are finished with racing orange-colored Eloxal.
  The manufacturing is of the highest quality.

Our K-Sport chassis achieve therefore a weight advantage of approx. 20% over production model components.  Because the damper carries a coil over its entire length it is possible, if necessary, to replace individual parts, which makes repair and maintenance of the chassis inexpensive.

   
All coilovers are of course supplied with  German Technical Inspection Agency (TÜV) Parts Certificates of Conformity and at a starting price of €1145 offer an unbeatable cost/performance ratio, particularly when considers the features!
