Air pressure jack systems are employed in racing to lift the car as quickly as possible during a pit stop, so that, for example, tire changes can be carried out as quickly as possible.
With tuned cars the installation of such an air jack is in many cases worthwhile, because side skirting and lowering make it often very difficult to use a car jack.
The air connection takes place on the top side of the jack, which is fitted with a Dash-06 coil. The jacks are connected with the help of aluminum tubing or with steel flex cables. The operating pressure averages about 25bar.
Depending on the axle load, three or four levers are installed in the automobile (front axle: 2 pieces, rear axle: 1 or 2 pieces). The assembly takes place with the help of bearing and retaining rings. It is possible that welding retaining plates on the car could become necessary.
