Uniball strut bearings in various designs:   *Tech-Tip, spring leg designs:  
         
  Standard model strut bearings are designed for driving comfort.  They are composed of outer and an inner metal pieces, which are connected to each other with rubber.  This design allows for comfortable handling, as the strut bearing springs and absorbs short shocks.  This soft connection between the suspension strut and the body is, however, not advantageous in racing.   In typical suspensions MC Pherson spring legs, only the lower wishbones. The axle clamping is fixed to the suspension strut bolted. The spring leg is responsible for the wheel. Camber and castor angles are set at the suspension strut. With steering wheel rotates the entire spring with a leg. MC Pherson Struts therefore have stronger piston rods, because they possess structural properties. At the foot of the damper is either axle clamping with two screws, or the damper is clamped axle clamping . Here are two example of Struts in MC-Pherson construction:


   

For kits with twin arms is axle clamping up and down with one arm connected. The camber is for this system over the length of the wishbones engestellt. This can be done with an eccentric on pivot point the arms or adjustable arms made. The damper itself in these kits do not affect or camber angle, and trailing only springer/ damper-

The pisten rod can therefore be significantly thinner dimensions. When you turn the steering damper at double suspension arm with no handlebars. As in the example image below to see such dampers are at the foot with only one screw (via fork or Uniball ball) mounted on the lower wishbones.

 
       
  K-Sport uniball strut bearings made from CNC-milled 6061 airplane aluminum are mounted instead of the standard model ones.  They are lighter, eliminate the disruptive springing of the original strut bearings and thereby improve targeted precision while cornering.  As each spring movement now moves in a defined manner over the suspension strut, the mechanical grip of the entire chassis is heightened.  Losses in the level of comfort must be accepted.    
       
  If the suspension strut is constructed in MC-Pherson* design, it can be adjusted over the camber’s K-Sport strut bearing. With 3-D strut bearings, the castor angle can additionally be adjusted.  The uniball sphere is bedded in a Teflon socket, takes over the function of the strut mount and makes it possible to turn and tilt the damper during steering and springing.    
       
  The strut bearings are elaborately CNC-milled with the highest precision.  The surface is galvanized in high quality with orange-colored Eloxal.  The perfect melding of flawless vehicle handling and magnificent racing appearance!
